Un logro más para la Biblioteca de CASA
On December 5th, CASA´s library held a certificate ceremony for the students who completed their primary and secondary studies through the National Institute for Adult Education (INEA) program. Two INEA representatives, José Luis Berra and Maria Guadalupe Chavez Rodríguez attended the ceremony as well as INEA teacher Lorena Martinez and CASA library coordinator, Lucia Abigail Almanza.
Three students were awarded certificates: Francisco Javier Soria González, 14 for primary studies, María Cristina Ramírez, 47 and a young hearing impaired woman, Dulce María Sigala Mejía, 22 for secondary studies. This is an example of the diverse teaching techniques that Lorena Martinez uses to incorporate all types of students including those with disabilities. Lorena was also recognized for her work as an INEA teacher at CASA for over 10 years.
The partnership between the CASA Library and INEA program continues to be an important link between the surrounding communities and continuing education programs that seek to improve the quality of life for students.
