Tree Planting in the Palo Colorado Community
On October 13th, CASA’s community health advocates visited the Palo Colorado preschool to give a lesson on tree planting and caring for the environment. A total of 12 trees were planted by the children with the help of CASA advocates Heriberta Rivera and Cesar Ramirez. The promoters taught the students how to plant and take care of trees as well as the importance of environmental conservation – knowledge that we hope they will take with them into the future. The children participated enthusiastically in this fun and educational activity.
