The main objective was to provide formal and comprehensive education to traditional midwives in the San Miguel de Allende area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">History and achievements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout its years of operation, the clinic has achieved important achievements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>17 generations of technical midwives:<\/strong> 120 women graduated from 12 states of the Mexican Republic and 3 countries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>More than 11,000 births:<\/strong> With transfer rates lower than 4% and mortality, maternal morbidity and low birth weight rates lower than 1%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Midwifery Care Model:<\/strong> Efficient and effective, recognized for its quality and warmth in service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Services offered<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>During its operation, the clinic offered the following services:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Prenatal care and consultation with a midwife<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ultrasound and general medicine<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clinical analysis laboratory<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Counseling, implementation, and withdrawal of long-acting family planning methods<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clinic Closure<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In February 2024, the decision was made to close the CASA Maternity Clinic to reorganize its operations. February 29, 2024, was the last day of operations and activities at the clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Current services<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting in April 2024, primary care services will be relocated to the CASA Community Center, where they continue to offer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prenatal care and consultation with a midwife.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ultrasound and general practitioner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clinical analysis laboratory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Counseling, implementation, and withdrawal of long-acting family planning methods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Address:<\/strong> Santa Julia #15, Col.
