Pride March 2024

Pride March 2024

On July 13, CASA AC, through its Colors Collectiveorganized a march that left its mark. With a remarkable attendance of 800 people, this event became a benchmark in the fight for LGBT+ rights in our city.

The march covered several of the most iconic streets in downtown San Miguel de Allende, seeking to highlight diversity and promote inclusion among the LGBTIQ population.

Signature meeting

One of the purposes of the Pride march was to gather signatures from attendees to address and expose the immediate needs of the LGBT population.

What are they like:

1. Training in rights and awareness for public officials

2. The creation of an administrative unit for LGBTIQ people

3-.Promotion against homophobia

4. Public education free of discrimination

5.Support for the organization of LGBTIQ groups

6.Ensure access to sexual health

A significant advance on this path is the creation of the Undersecretariat for Sexual Diversity in Guanajuato, a valuable step toward a more inclusive and empathetic future. Led by Héctor García Frausto, a leader of the LGBTIQ+ community, a new chapter of hope opens. Under his leadership, a profound transformation is proposed, where sexual diversity will be respected and protected, and where sexual health will be an accessible right for all, without distinction.
