Professional internships and social service

1.- To carry out Social Service or Professional Internships, applicants must submit the following documentation:

Submit the documentation issued by the school.

Letter of Request

A document from the school stating that the student may begin their Social Service or Professional Internship.

Photocopies of all documents

• Birth certificate
• Proof of address
• CURP (Mexican population registry code)
• INE voter ID (if 18 or older)
• Documentation issued by the institution
• Résumé
• Attendance log

Acceptance Letter (From the person in charge of supervising the Service or Internship)

Completion letter (carta de liberación)

NOTE: All documentation must be complete before beginning social service or a professional internship.

2.- Students completing their social service or professional internship must follow the guidelines and regulations of the institution and of the program where they will carry out their activities.

3.- The coordinator or director of each program will assign the activities to be carried out in that area.

4.- If you cannot come in, you must notify your supervisor.

5.- Students must demonstrate appropriate behavior inside and outside the institution when they are performing their Social Service, social internships or volunteering.

6.- Students must treat users, staff, and anyone who comes to the institution with respect.

If a student has three consecutive absences without notifying the program manager, these will be considered unjustified absences and the Social Service or Professional Internship will be terminated.

Serious actions committed by the student will be grounds for dismissal.

Drinking alcoholic beverages while on duty or during professional internships

Using drugs or psychoactive substances during service or internship hours

• Endangering the safety or well-being of anyone at the institution
• Breaching the confidentiality of information handled by the program or institution
• Coming to the institution intoxicated or otherwise unfit for duty

In any of the above cases, the person responsible for the program must notify Human Resources so that they can in turn notify the school.

• The suspension of Social Service or Professional Practices will occur when
• Not all requested documentation has been submitted
• Causes of force majeure or fortuitous event.
• Due to health reasons that the student may present.
• Pregnant students whose pregnancy is high risk.
• When the person responsible for the program considers it appropriate.
