Indigenous midwives support the CASA project in San Miguel de Allende, following the approval of Standard 020, which recognizes their ancestral work.
San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato Following the recent publication of the Standard 020, he San Miguel de Allende Adolescent Center (HOME) seeks to transform her clinic, which has been closed for the past three years, into the first Center of Excellence in Traditional and Professional Midwifery.
During the meeting Guardians of Life At the event, which brought together 85 indigenous midwives from different parts of the country, the San Miguel-based civil association announced its project, with which it aims to reactivate care for women through a center that provides comprehensive care.
