May 11-16 – Births 2020

Every woman decides how to give birth. She decides if she wants to be accompanied and by whom. She decides who she wants to attend her and where she wants to give birth. “In giving birth to our babies, we may discover that we are giving birth to new possibilities within ourselves.” Myla Kabat-Zinn

As midwives, we know that every birth is different, which is why we respect a woman's decision about how she wants to give birth. We are there to guide her, provide comfort and support when she needs it, and if something goes wrong, we are also there to support her and follow plan B. The "issue" of childbirth is always something that generates a lot of uncertainty for us.

Woman, you are strong, trust your instinct, trust your body, trust your baby!
