Births, May 11–16, 2020
Each woman decides how to give birth. She decides whether she wants company and who she wants with her. She decides who will care for her and where she wants to give birth. “In giving birth to our babies, we may find that we give birth to new possibilities within ourselves.” Myla Kabat-Zinn
As midwives, we know every birth is different, so we respect women's decisions about how they want to give birth. We are there to guide you, offer comfort and support when you need it, and, if something goes wrong, help you follow plan B. Birth is always a subject that can bring considerable uncertainty.
Woman, you are strong, trust your instinct, trust your body, trust your baby!
We congratulate new mother Perla Andrea and thank her wholeheartedly for allowing us to welcome her baby and be part of this momentous moment in her life. She was cared for by midwife Gabriela Cárdenas and accompanied by her mother, who gave her every emotional support. She welcomed her baby with great love.

María del Carmen welcomed her baby with her partner with the assistance of midwife Ángeles Loyola.
Maria Fernanda also gave birth accompanied by her partner who provided emotional support the entire time. Together they welcomed their first baby with the assistance of midwife Tania Lopez.

The Acevedo Jimenez family received assistance from midwife Manuela Mendoza and believes they were well cared for. She gave birth to her second baby accompanied by her partner and her mother.
Jazmin Perez and her partner welcomed their son with midwife Manuela's assistance. Jazmin said, “It is very good that places like this exist. It helped me a great deal, and other women who received care here have told me about their experiences. It has been a very good option.”

With her mother at her side, Verónica gave her first baby a loving welcome, assisted by midwife Ángeles Loyola. Verónica says, “Midwife Ángeles is very patient and stayed with me the whole time.” “The clinic has everything it needs; people just need more information about how well births are handled here.”
